Since the fall of Afghanistan in August 2021, Afghanistan is now the safest and most secure it has been in the past 20 years. The tourism industry is growing. Our local guides have a good knowledge of Afghan security and consult regularly with the relevant authorities.  We only visit areas and stay in hotels and guest houses that are safe and secure.

Yes, of course. If you prefer to be part of a group, we are also happy to try to arrange this for you.

Yes, that is not a problem. We get many solo travelers.

You will need to visit your nearest Afghan embassy to apply. We will send you a visa invitation letter to make the process easier for you.  If, for some reason, the visa is not granted you can get the visa from the Afghanistan embassy in Dubai, Abu Dubai, Islamabad, Peshawar, Tehran, and Mashhad. We are always happy to assist you if you need help with this process.

There are daily flights from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. There are also flights from Islamabad, Istanbul, Jeddah, Ryhad, Kuwait, and Delhi. If you browse for flights from any search engine online like Skyscanner.com or the local airline, kamair.com you will be able to find multiple options.

We recommend you bring USD and Euro as both are accepted in currency exchanges. Make sure to bring cash as ATMs are not reliable.

Food is an important part of Afghan culture. We will introduce you to the best and most popular local dishes – for example, Kabuli Pallow in Kabul, Mantu in Mazar-i-Sharif, or Bolani in Bamyan.  Our guides are familiar with all the local restaurants, and will help you to choose the tastiest dishes.

We use standard hotels and guest houses which we know to be safe and secure for tourists.

As your comfort and safety are always a major consideration, we choose our vehicles according to the road conditions and length of the journey.
